Jeremy Miller- Varsity Football
A 1998 graduate of Pewamo-Westphalia, Coach Miller has been the Varsity Football Coach for the past twelve seasons. He began his coaching career assisting the JV Baseball Team at Lakewood High School in 2005. After serving as an assistant football coach at Lakewood from 2005-2007, Coach Miller joined the P-W Football staff as the J.V. Defensive Coordinator from 2008-2010. From 2010-2012 he served as the Offensive Line Coach under Head Coach Brad Weber, before being named the Head Coach in 2013.
Coach Miller's teams have won 10 CMAC Championships, 10 District Championships and 6 Regional Championships. P-W has appeared in the State Finals five times and has won the State Championship in 2016, 2017, 2019, and 2021.
Coach Miller has been named the State Football Coach of the Year for Division 7 in 2016, 2017, 2019, & 2021. He was also named the Michigan High School Coach's Association Coach of the Year in Football in 2020.
Coach Miller is married to Sara and has five children, Ellyse (class of 2021), Gabe (class of 2024), Leah, Molly, and Hazel.
In his spare time Coach Miller enjoys hunting, reading, watching sports and documentaries. Along with the P-W Pirates, his favorite sports teams are the Detroit Lions, Tigers, and Michigan State Football & Basketball.
